Taking stock and reviewing.
I’ve been feeling somewhat sluggish ever since I got home from the birthday weekend. Getting up in the morning has been difficult again and so I re-read the list of foods that are no no’s (if you are going to be Rambo strict about it) and I found that I had allowed a few ingredients to slip into my routines again.
If we’re going to be honest here (and what’s the point of this exercise if I’m not?) I have been having organic non sweetened (not from concentrate) apple juice in my soda water. No No Number#1
I started drinking coffee with stevia and a splash of organic milk….dairy being No No Number#2. Occasionally coconut milk, dried herbs and mayo have made it into something I was cooking so they are No No Number#3 and last but not least white rice has snuck in to my crackers and basmati rice selection for No No Number#4.
I can’t see not cooking with dried herbs so I will have to risk the possibility that they have mould (although my nose is crazy accurate so I
will pay attention to their smell). I don’t have access to a store living an hour outside the nearest town so getting fresh herbs regularly isn’t within my grasp. Also, I have observed that rice products and I do very well together so my white rice crackers are staying.
I will however stop drinking coffee daily and make it a special occasion thing. Back to herbal teas for me. I will also drink more lemonade and less apple fizzy cutting back considerably on the apple juice. After a couple weeks we’ll take stock and review again.
