I have begun reading another Candida book now that my house painting gig is completed.  Thank goodness my house painting job is done.  What can I say…it is a past career that I am competent at doing, however I am no longer in love with it so the sooner I make a living as a writer…oh happy day that will be.  Know what I mean?

I can say the Cleanse helped with my Arthritis on the job.  I can tap tap tap away at the keys right now without my hands seizing up so I think the inflammation is going down in the joints. OH…and I’ve noticed that my Acne isn’t nearly as horrific as it was 39 days ago.  I’m going to give it another month to see if it goes away completely but the difference is already dramatic.

OOOOOOH …and Monica insists I’m a different person now that I’ve gotten my Sanity back.  Apparently the Psychotic Roller Coastering Bi-atch has left the building. Score 3 for the gratitude diary!

Each day for the next week I’m going to give you a Break Down of Symptoms of Candida by Category as per the Overcoming Candida: The Ultimate Cookery Guide by Xandria Williams starting with today’s Heading…

General Symptoms:

  • Fatigue and Lethargy
  • Insomnia
  • Drowsiness
  • Poor Concentration
  • History of Ringworm or other fungal infection of the skin
  • Body Odour, even after washing
  • Ear infections.

I won’t tell you how many symptoms I rated on overall (90%) looking at all the categories.  Let’s see if you recognize yourself or someone close to you as being a Contestant on the ‘Candida Chronicles’ Game Show.

On another note I am very proud of myself today!

There was a guest speaker on the topic of The Transition Town Movement as we forge a future that hopefully will move us beyond Peak Oil into the ‘slow movement’ and Sustainability Practices.  This day was very social and ended with a potluck.  I managed to bring my own food for lunch and only choose items (meat + salad greens) that were 100% ok on my cleanse!  I sipped on lime water all night and managed not to let this whole cleanse thing prevent me from participating.  Oh…that and the fact that my jeans are fitting a whole lot better is keeping me motivated.  Yippee skippee.
