Steak Marinade:

Marinated BBQ Steak, recipe suitable for a Candida Cleanse, an Experiment using Food as Medicine, Chronicled by Nicole Chayka, image by Monica Holy

Steak Marinade:  for Approximately 1 lb of thinly sliced steak from a Roast

  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic
  • Tbsp of tomato sauce*
  • Celery salt
  • Onion powder
  • Montreal steak spice
  • Dash Tobasco
  • Sea salt/pepper

*Tomatoes, were in question for the Candida Cleanse. I didn’t find out concretely until day 10 that these were on the NO List. So until day 10, I included them in my diet, especially Tomatoes, as they were the basis for so many dishes. They are okay to include, however, in later stages of the Cleanse.
